What we collect

• Account data: your email address, name if you provide one, workspace names, and timezone.
• Content data: drafts, scheduled posts, and publishing history you create in the app.
• Connection data: OAuth tokens for the social networks you connect. We never see or store your social passwords.
• Billing data: plan, subscription status, and a card fingerprint from our payment provider. Full card numbers never reach our servers.
• Abuse-prevention data: salted, hashed device and IP signals used only to stop duplicate trials and signup spam.

Video stays on your device

Video compression runs entirely in your browser using the native WebCodecs API. Your source footage is not uploaded to a render server; only the file you choose to publish is sent onward to the network you selected.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service: publishing your posts, showing your calendar and analytics, sending trial and billing notices, providing support, and preventing fraud and trial abuse.

We do not sell your data and we do not use your post content to advertise to you or to third parties.

Who we share with

We share only what is necessary with the processors that run GentoPost: our cloud and database host, our payment provider for subscriptions and trials, our transactional email provider, and the social networks you explicitly connect.

Retention and your rights

We keep your account data while your account is open, and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can disconnect any social account at any time, which revokes the stored token.

You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@gentopost.com. Deletion removes your drafts, schedules, and connections; already-published posts remain on the networks.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember workspace preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
