Everything about connecting channels to GentoPost, answered.
Which social networks can I connect to GentoPost?
GentoPost lists 14 networks: Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Google Business, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Threads, Telegram, WhatsApp Status (beta), Snapchat (beta), Reddit and Bluesky. Each destination has its own character limits, hashtag rules and media constraints.
Do I need API keys or a developer account?
No. Every connection is made through the network's own sign-in screen. GentoPost stores and refreshes the resulting token for you and warns you the moment a channel needs re-approval.
Does GentoPost support Bluesky and Telegram natively?
Yes. Bluesky posts respect the 300-character limit and native link cards, and Telegram broadcasts go to channels and groups on the schedule you set, with no bot token to paste.
How long does it take to connect a channel?
Roughly thirty seconds per network: choose the network, approve on its OAuth screen, and it appears in the composer with an Active badge.
What happens if a network rejects a post?
GentoPost shows a plain-language failure with the exact fix — a caption too long, missing media, or an expired connection — and lets you retry the affected channels without re-sending the successful ones.
