Ban-risk and rate-limit safety on Instagram Reels

Humanized posting delays

Meta throttles bursts of identical media. GentoPost spaces Instagram deliveries with a humanized jitter window so your cadence reads like a person, not a bot.

Official API only

Instagram Graph API via official Meta OAuth 2.0 (Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page). No scraping, no session cookies, no unofficial endpoints — the practices that actually get accounts suspended.

Compression before upload

WebCodecs re-encodes on your device — a 100 MB clip becomes roughly 12 MB — so Instagram Reels uploads finish fast and stay inside its size ceiling. Try the compressor.

Instagram Reels publishing questions

Specifics about limits, media and compliance when GentoPost posts to Instagram Reels.

Can GentoPost schedule Instagram Reels without a phone reminder?

Yes. Reels are delivered directly through the official Instagram Graph API on the schedule you set, so there is no push notification or manual paste step.

Does Instagram require media on every post?

Yes. Instagram rejects text-only posts, so GentoPost blocks publishing and shows the exact fix if no image or video is attached to an Instagram channel.

Will automated Instagram posting get my account banned?

GentoPost publishes exclusively through Meta's approved Graph API with OAuth 2.0 — no scraping, no session tokens, no unofficial endpoints. Combined with humanized posting delays, your account stays inside Meta's published policies.
